Wills, Bequests and Living Trusts

If you are looking to leave Pathways Early Education Center in your will, you are able to do so by adding as little as one sentence in your will to complete your gift:

Legal Name: Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee, Inc.

“I give to Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee, of Naples, Florida, Tax ID#: 59-1209842, (all, or __ percent of) the rest, residue and remainder of my estate for its general purposes.”

This type of donation in your will or living trust helps to ensure that we are able to give children the opportunity to learn and grow for years to come.

Beneficiary Gifts Through Retirement Accounts

Naming Pathways as a beneficiary is a simple and powerful way to support the life-changing work of our organization without updating your will. All beneficiary gifts pass directly to Pathways without going through the probate process. These gifts go right to work to help build a brighter future for children in Immokalee.

  • Contact your plan administrator or financial institution for a change of beneficiary form. Or visit the beneficiary page on their website, where you can complete the form in just a few minutes.
  • On the beneficiary form, decide what percentage (up to 100%) you would like us to receive. Please list us as:
    Legal Name:
Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee, Inc.
Address: 415 Colorado Avenue, Immokalee, FL 34142
    Federal Tax ID #: 59-1209842

Gifts That Pay You Income

There is a way for you to support Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee and feel confident that you have a dependable income in your retirement years. You can do this with a charitable gift annuity.

With a charitable gift annuity, you agree to make a gift to Pathways, and we, in return, agree to pay you (and someone else, if you choose) a fixed amount each year for the rest of your life. The balance is used to support our work.

This type of donation can provide you with regular payments for life and allow Pathways to further our mission. You can also qualify for a variety of tax benefits depending on how you fund your gift.

If you fund your gift annuity with cash or appreciated property, you qualify for a federal income tax deduction if you itemize. In addition, you can minimize capital gains taxes when you fund your gift with appreciated property.

And now, you can fund your gift using your IRA assets. If you are 70½ and older, you can make a one-time election of up to $50,000 to fund a gift annuity. While your gift does not qualify for an income tax deduction, it does escape income tax liability on the transfer and count toward all or part of your required minimum distributions.

Fund Your Donation With:

  • Cash
  • Appreciated Securities
  • Closely Held Stock
  • Real Estate
  • Tangible Personal Property
  • IRAAssets
